Soul Portraits

Well, I did my soul portraits with Siddiqi and OMG, what an experience. It was like I saw myself for the first time. As she did my soul reading moments before the pics, tears streamed down my face as the relief of hearing the truth about me. It resonated so deeply that I won’t be the same again. It’s not really about the pics and I thought even if I didn’t like any (as I’m so terrible about seeing myself usually) I thought just the experience of the process is priceless.

So if you want to take your life’s journey to another level, it’s a must.

Heart Wall Clearing

One day I was flicking around on twitter and I was attracted to this guy, Norval, a Chi Practioner who removes heart wall energies. His knowledge of me and blocks was astounding and even though we’ve never spoken and he lives in Atlanta Georgia, he did 15 short sessions on me. All I know is that I just trusted what he was doing was helping, I could feel it, in fact I got him to do my hubby and son and then my mum too – so he must be doing something right. Astrological Chart

I had an amazing session with an astrologist from Germany via skype re my chart. Never had it done before, can you believe it!

Everything he said rang so true (over 2 hours of it!). I couldn’t even repeat what he said (it is recorded for you thank goodness) but resonated so much about how I operate in my life. He talked about my soul’s journey and what I do to survive and why. It gave me great insight how to manage challenges and why I react in certain ways to things, I’m going to go back now and listen again, there was sooooo much in there.

FIRING MY EGO

Today I decided it was time to officially fire my ego. It’s role of Chief advisor is now going to be taken by my intuition and thankfully, my beautiful healer Alana is letting me do her workshop on opening the heart and intuition tomorrow, so it’ll give my intuition some good training to take over the job.

Yes after much consideration and tiring of the negative advice, things like ‘you are alone’ and ‘you’re not good enough’ AND ‘your really a bad person’ - 3 beliefs that the ego keeps throwing down on the table at me in a very old archived file!!! No more today, time for some love, peace and kindness to myself.

You may be thinking, but isn’t ego about telling you how good you are when you need it? Well yes and no, having an ego to keep us pumped up and giving us a false confidence when we need it is good sometimes, but for me in my life and the work I’m doing in self-development, it’s not good. It’s only participation seems to be about keeping me separated from my true nature and what I’m aiming to do which is strengthen my spiritual self, so I don’t need to be falsly pumped up, I can know in my heart that no matter what happens around me or to me from others or life’s circumstances, I’m okay. I’m not bad or invaluable, I’m inately good and part of that mindstream of consciousness or God so therefore, I’m always okay.

So maybe it could be worth checking how you’re ego’s performing, maybe it’s time to give him less responsibility OR look for a new chief advisor!!!

Think outside the box or just a different way!

I know that lately I’ve really had to look at everything I’m doing differently. Perhaps I’m feeling the effects of 2012 or maybe it’s just the universe wanting me to be the fullest spiritually I can be. Mmm, well that is what 2012 is about actually. If you’re feeling pulled, out of whack, fearful, excited, challenged, lost, inspired yet okay – join the club, that’s we’re I am. Perhaps being in your 40′s makes you reflect more and worry about time running out, yet I do know that’s an illusion, but may face in the morning makes me feel differently I have to say. But things are different for most of my friends, growth is hard at the best of times, but if you’re not growing your dying right? A recent reading I had with the wonderful Bella Gill, recently relayed a message from one of my guides saying ‘everything will never be as it was before’. Not a truer word was spoken I thought, it’s how I feel and I must ride this change with trust that there is always a bigger picture even though I cannot see it.

I pondered this afternoon about my youth and how I would’ve done some things differently. Then when I actually thought what I WOULD do differently, it didn’t make sense because I am the sum of all I’ve done. So now at my age I ask myself, where is my truth, my searching taking me? Then another layer peels off and I find a clue – ah ha! And on I go.

Sometimes in the quiet of night I can feel my thoughts grow louder and I realize (again) as I still my mind, that it’s only my thoughts that create any drama, or fear or ‘not enoughness’, giving power to beliefs. Everything is just as it is, whether I like or not, whether I agree with it or not or whether it makes me sad or happy, what is, is. Soooooo my point is I must remember that how I respond to life is up to me…

As a storyteller you know it’s true, it’s all about the story and what better way to educate, entertain and win your story than a heartfelt authentic story.
